Wallflower Solera Barrel Gin

Wallflower Solera Barrel Gin shares similar characteristics to the original Oaken Gin with its base of 100% BC-grown barley distilled with familiar and exotic botanicals, aged in oak barrels. The length of aging they receive is what separates and defines them.

For this special release, we bottled our Solera Gin barrel, a 30-litre American white oak rye cask. Wallflower Gin was added to this Solera Barrel over time and now ranges from 3 to 4.5 years old. Our previous Oaken Gin was aged for approximately 12 months so this extra time spent in oak adds a rich, smooth texture, and elevates the woody spice notes. Strong citrus flavours are coupled with a surprising fruitiness, and plum notes are pleasingly integrated with vanilla.
